CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Tribute bands come in many forms. Some are so good they look and sound better than the original. Others are so bad, they are an embarrassment to fans or unintentionally hysterical like a low budget horror movie.

American Floyd, which bills itself as “the premiere Pink Floyd Tribute Experience,” has earned its place as one of the very best anywhere.
AMERICAN FLOYD
The ten piece band, founded by Clarksville singer/guitarist Mark Hawkins has fans around the world that will testify to their greatness.

American Floyd stages shows very selectively because the size of the massive production is far too big to just tour small clubs.

The show includes a full band of highly polished musicians and singers, a massive light show, lasers, rear projection images and a deep list of songs from the Pink Floyd canon.

Sometimes, American Floyd will present a full Pink Floyd album, but more often they perform large chunks of albums with other fan favorites peppered in.

For their next show, Saturday at APSU the band will not reveal their set list, but promise lots of classic songs and a few surprises.
