CLARKSVILLE, TN − Manna Cafe Ministries is proud to announce that Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation (CEMC) + Cumberland Connect has joined its Full Table Initiative – a commitment to fight food insecurity across Montgomery and Stewart Counties.

By partnering with Manna Cafe through the Full Table Initiative, CEMC + Cumberland Connect is directly investing in the lives of local families who face daily challenges putting food on the table. The Full Table Initiative brings together community leaders and businesses who pledge long-term support to ensure consistent access to nutritious meals for our neighbors in need.

“At CEMC + Cumberland Connect, we recognize that food insecurity is a reality for too many individuals and families in the communities we serve,” said Susie Yonkers, CEMC’s community relations coordinator. “As a member-owned electric cooperative, we are guided by the cooperative principles, especially Concern for Community. This principle reminds us that our responsibility goes beyond delivering reliable electricity; it includes caring for the well-being of our neighbors.

“We believe that no one should have to choose between keeping the lights on and putting food on the table. That’s why we support local food banks, community outreach programs, and initiatives that work to ensure everyone has access to nutritious food. It is a privilege to serve alongside agencies like Manna Cafe to help create a stronger community.”

“We’re honored to welcome CEMC + Cumberland Connect as a Full Table Initiative partner,” said Vicki York, co-founder and CEO of Manna Cafe Ministries. “Their support is so appreciated. Their participation in this powerful initiative will allow us to expand our reach and meet the growing demand for food assistance in our region.”
