“I feel this recognition is a great team accomplishment,” said Clark. “With the assistance of my teammates and coaches putting me in position, I was able to put together a balanced game on offense and defense, which I believe played a key role in helping my team secure the double overtime win.”

“I really thought Layla played hard and steady the whole game,” said Clarksville Academy girls’ basketball coach Charles Clark. “She did a little bit of everything to help us secure a huge home district win. Over the course of the last few weeks, Layla seems to be settling in and being able to impact winning for her team. But I can’t say enough about her overall effort vs. DA.”
