CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Week four of the 2024-25 high school football season is here, so let’s take a look at the matchups heading into the weekend of Friday the 13th.

Clarksville Now’s Game of the Week: West Creek (1-2) @ Kenwood (0-3)

The “Battle of Peachers Mill” between the Coyotes and Knights has a lot of playoff implications on the line. West Creek is looking to go back-to-back in this rivalry matchup and running back DJ McCoy could be the difference maker for the team. Meanwhile, Kenwood and quarterback Jacoby Cox will look to reclaim the rivalry trophy while earning their first win of the season.

Kirkwood High (3-0) @ Northeast High (0-3)

The Cobras are off to a 3-0 start for the second straight year and are rolling on both sides of the ball behind quarterback Miles Redding and two-way player Moses Byrd. As for the Eagles, they are looking for their first win of the season and are hoping that quarterback Phoenix Love and his receiving core, highlighted by sophomore Terry Jones, will lead the team to victory.

Northwest High (1-2) @ Rossview High (3-0)

After losing two straight games, the Northwest Vikings will look to get back into the win column this week and collect a region win against the Rossview High Hawks. Vikings running back Bricen Moore could be a game changer in the matchup. Meanwhile, Rossview is looking to extend their winning streak to four games after this week. RHS running back Chris Johnson is currently leading the county in rushing yards with 317.

Middle Tennessee Christian (1-2) @ Clarksville Academy (1-2)

Middle Tennessee Christian is traveling to Clarksville Academy this weekend for a matchup between the two Cougar squads. Clarksville Academy is looking for their second win on the season behind starting quarterback Ethan Bones.

Hopkinsville Tigers (1-2) @ Clarksville High Wildcats (3-0)

The Hopkinsville Tigers, who coming off a rivalry win against Christian County, are taking a trip to Hilda J. Richardson Field to take on the undefeated Clarksville High Wildcats. CHS has been strong on both sides of the ball, and Jack Stein has done it all for the Wildcats defense so far this season. Up to this point in the year, Stein has compiled 37 tackles, six tackles for loss, one sack and a forced fumble through three games.

Montgomery Central (0-3) @ Creek Wood (2-1)

The Montgomery Central Indians are going to travel to Creek Wood High School for a rivalry matchup with the Red Hawks on Friday. While the team has improved, the Indians have played one of the toughest schedules in all of Montgomery County so far this season. If MCHS looks to pull out the road victory, look for quarterback and safety Jackson Mullins to make plays on both sides of the ball.

Madisonville-North (3-0) @ Fort Campbell (0-3)

The Falcons are set to welcome the Madisonville-North Maroons to Fort Campbell High School on Friday night. With the Army Bowl nearing, Fort Campbell will look to earn their first win of the season on their home turf.
