CSM (Ret.) William David “Dave” Wright, Jr., passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Dave was born October 11, 1948, in Roanoke, VA to the late William D. Wright, Sr. and Glenna Hoge Rambo. Dave is also preceded in death by his wife, Helga M. Wright and two grandchildren.
Dave is survived by his children, William Keith (Kimberly) Wright, Christina Ann Wright, Dorothy W. Frame and Barrie E. (Jack) Bartol; siblings, Katherine “Kitty” (David) Wright Katt, Louis “Ben” (Linda) Rambo, and Mary Rambo Conner; 4 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held in Dave’s honor on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 12:00 in the Chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00-12:00 on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will follow directly after the service at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
