CLARKSVILLE, TN – Beginning Aug. 14, local financial planner Eric Fitzpatrick is partnering with Manna Café to offer a Financial Literacy workshop to the public.
The workshop will be held every second and fourth Monday of the month starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Manna Refuge building located at 503 D St. There will be no childcare available.
GET INVOLVED: For more information on local charities and how you can help them, go to ClarksvilleStrong.com.
This event is completely free of charge. Fitzpatrick’s commitment is driven by the desire to contribute to our community’s financial literacy education.
Eric is a veteran with a passion for helping people achieve their financial goals. Before joining the Navy, he worked at Wells Fargo bank and was exposed to the world of financial services. While serving, Fitzpatrick volunteered as a Financial Specialist and helped fellow service members reach their goals. After leaving the military, he pursued a career in financial coaching and was trained and certified as a financial coach by Dave Ramsey in his masterclass. Eric is now an independent coach, not an agent or employee of Dave Ramsey.
Participants have the flexibility to choose the topics that interest them most and attend those specific event dates. However, budget management will be covered regularly to ensure understanding and application of the principles taught. Both sessions held in the same month will cover identical content, allowing attendees to choose an alternate date if they are unable to make the first session.
Topics to be covered during the year-long workshop include Introduction to Personal Finance, Financial Planning and Goals, Budgeting Basics, Saving, Understanding Credit, Debt Management and much more.
“I am partnering with Manna Café to bring this program to the community because I am dedicated to helping people take control of their finances and attain financial freedom”, explains Eric. “Collaborating with Manna Café provides an excellent opportunity to extend the reach of financial literacy to a wider audience.”
