CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – VIPeach is a music artist, model and veteran who is pivoting her music and her brand to spread a message.

Originally from Cincinatti, she now lives in Clarksville and is making her Tennessee debut Friday, Jan. 6, with a single release party and independent artist showcase called #TennesseeTakeover.

Although VIPeach has been making music and performing for only three years, she has a strong list of accomplishments as an independent artist.

“This year I won Female Artist of the Year at the Ohio Buckeye Awards. I also won Female Music Video of the Year. I released four music videos and seven singles. I performed in seven different states, 16 different cities. I’ve thrown seven concerts. I performed for Twista, Petey Pablo, Lil Flip and Bezz Believe,” she told Clarksville Now.

Turning point for her music

Now, she’s ready to make music that makes a difference.

“My strategy with the music,” she sighed. “I knew I couldn’t come out of the gate talking about domestic violence and women empowerment and stuff like. People don’t want to talk about it. It’s taboo or it’s not exciting. It’s not entertaining. I started making very catchy songs first that would grab people’s attention. Now that I have people’s attention, I’ve been trying to move into more of that inspirational music.”

“Better Days” is the new single, dropping on Friday. “This new song is like a turning point in my music. It’s a little more vulnerable. Really it was like an anthem to myself to help me through. I wanted to start making music to help other people through and get to better days,” she said.

“I just had certain songs, when I was going through the abuse or the divorce, that helped heal me and keep me going. I wanted to make those songs for other people, to have that one song that they can replay play over and over and it helps then get through that hard time.”

Release party

The event will be held at the Pressuh Event Center, 2051 Fort Campbell Blvd. A portion of ticket and door sales will be donated to Clarksville Urban Ministries, which operates a safe house for domestic violence victims.
