Star Spangled Brewing Co.’s Oktoberfest Beer Party has become such a big bash, they’ve had to add another tent and move it to the neighbor’s yard.
The sixth annual three-day event will be held this year at a new location, Beachaven Vineyards and Winery, on Oct. 7, 8 and 9, under four circus tents, according to Star Spangled Brewing owner Joshua Romaker.
Planned activities on all three days include live German polka music from Beatrice and Derrol, dancing (with the Chicken Dance), beer-stein-holding contests, and axe-throwing courtesy of The Flip’n Axe. It’s a family-friendly event, and there will be lots for the kids to do, including an Alpine horn-blowing contest.

On Saturday afternoon, Appleton Harley-Davidson will gather up the folks at their Biketoberfest and hold a ride over to the Oktoberfest Beer Party.
The event drew 1,500 to 2,000 people last year, and with more space, more events and more vendors this year, Romaker hopes to double that.
Proceeds will benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, with a goal of raising $15,000 for them, Romaker said. Since 9/11, Tunnel to Towers has been providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children. They also build custom-designed smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders.
Romaker said the Tunnel to Towers has done a lot of good work in Nashville and is looking to expand their mission in Clarksville.

Entry fee for the event is $5, and kids get in free.
VIP tickets are $35, online at Square. Each VIP ticket gets you all-weekend admission, a customized, glass, 1-liter beer stein, and one free fill of your new stein.
The Oktoberfest Beer Party will be Oct. 7-9 from 3-10 p.m. Friday, noon-10 p.m. Saturday, and noon-10 p.m. Sunday at Beachaven, 1100 Dunlop Lane.
The title sponsors are Veterans United and 84 Lumber. Additional sponsors include Appleton Harley Davidson, Legends Bank and Ajax Distributing.
