Update, 11:25 a.m.: Clarksville Police are asking for the public’s help with additional information on Thursday’s fatal crash
At approximately 6:12 p.m., the driver of a Toyota Avalon was making a lefthand turn onto Fair Brook Place and was struck on the passenger side by a Volkswagen Golf traveling southbound on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, Beaubien said.
After the collision, the Toyota traveled into the parking lot of Applebee’s Grill and struck an unoccupied vehicle.
A passenger in the Toyota, Eric Allbrooks, was killed. The driver of the Toyota was critically injured.
The driver and passenger in the Volkswagen were treated at Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville.
Police investigators are asking for anyone that witnessed the crash or events leading up to it to call 911 and provide their information.
Update, 9:40 a.m. Friday: The person killed in the crash has been identified as 38-year-old Eric Allbrooks of Clarksville, and family notifications have been made.
The driver of the car that Allbrooks was in is listed in critical but stable condition. She was taken by LifeFlight to Skyline Medical Center.
The conditions of the other driver and his passenger were not available from police. They were taken to Tennova Healthcare Center.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A fatal crash involving multiple vehicles shut down part of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on Thursday night.
At about 7 p.m., Clarksville Police officers were working the crash in front of Applebee’s Grill, according to police spokesman Scott Beaubien.
“There are multiple injuries but their status is unknown at this time, however, they are being treated by first responders and EMS,” Beaubien said.
The southbound lanes of Wilma Rudolph were shut down and traffic was being diverted. CPD is asking the public to find alternate routes until the roadway can be cleared.
No further information has been released.
