CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – On the second week of December, my true love gave to me plenty of Christmas events for all to enjoy. Here’s what’s happening this weekend.
19th Century Christmas: Create period decorations, visit with a 19th century Santa, decorate a Christmas tree, and enjoy eggnog, cakes, caroling, and more at Fort Defiance Civil War Park this Saturday. Tickets are $3 per person and the event runs from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
The Santa Clause: Enjoy this 1994 Christmas movie at the Roxy on Sunday at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids.
German Christmas Market: From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday there will be a mix of indoor and outdoor vendors along with selections of German food at Christ Lutheran Church. Entry is free.
Christmas in the Grove: From 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oak Grove will be hosting their Christmas Parade and tree lighting at the Oak Grove War Memorial Walking Trail Park.
Christmas in Guthrie: From 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Guthrie will be hosting their Christmas parade along with other festivities across from Guthrie’s City Hall. Admission is free. There will be performances, vendors, and more.
A Christmas Caroline: On Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 6 p.m., there will be a Christmas musical featuring 13 songs and 30 local actors at Todd County Central High School. Tickets start at $12.30.
