CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) –Two of the three men charged with murder in a 2019 home invasion on Dandelion Drive took a plea deal to lesser charges Wednesday.
George Northington, 36, and Rasheem Greenwood II, 29, were both facing first-degree murder charges, and instead took open guilty pleas to the lesser-included charge of voluntary manslaughter along with especially aggravated burglary.

Nicoli Jefferies, 37, and Deontrea Milligan, 33, were found dead at the scene after the home invasion on Nov. 15, 2019.
The charge of voluntary manslaughter carries a sentence of three years, and the especially aggravated burglary charge carries eight years. The plea agreement specifies that both Northington and Greenwood must provide truthful testimony, according to court records.
They were both set to go to trial Monday, along with the third defendant, Richard Kenny Woodson. Woodson had his trial reset to Sept. 19, 2022.
Both Northington and Greenwood have a sentencing hearing Nov. 22.
The pair’s defense attorneys were not immediately available for comment.
