HOPKINSVILLE, Ky – A juvenile has been charged after allegedly shooting another person in Hopkinsville.
The incident occurred on May 17, on the 600 block of Evergreen Park Drive. According to police reports the victim, a female juvenile, was attempting to break up a fight when she was shot multiple times. Witnesses believed it had been a BB gun.
The victim was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center then transported to Vanderbilt Hospital for non-life threatening injuries in stable condition.
After investigation, Hopkinsville Police arrested a juvenile suspect for the alleged involvement and charged them with Assault First Degree.
The juvenile is now at the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center.
