Clifford Louis Smith, 62 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020, at his residence.

After an unsuccessful search for friends and family, McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home will be laying Mr. Smith to rest. Any Veterans that can attend, please join us Friday, January 31, 2020, from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be held Friday, January 31, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, 5817 Ft. Campbell Blvd, Hopkinsville, KY. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home has arranged for Military Honors to be provided. Chaplain (Ret) John Routzahn will be officiating.

Cliff entered this life on September 3, 1957, in Caster Valley, CA to the late Paul and Mary Smith. From 1975 to 1978 he served in the United States Marine Corp. During his time in the Marines, he received the Rifle Marksman Shooting Badge and Good Conduct Medal. From 1982 to 1987, Clifford served in the United States Navy. While in the Navy, he received the Navy Expeditionary Award, Good Conduct Award, Battle “E” Ribbon, and Service Deployment Ribbon. After serving in both the Marine Corps and Navy, Cliff went on to be a roofer. He enjoyed music, playing the trumpet, and loved being around people.
