OAK GROVE, Ky. – A Clarksville man was arrested after he crashed his motorcycle during a chase by Kentucky State Police (KSP) in Oak Grove, Ky.
According to a release from KSP, Dana E. Grice, Jr., 33, was traveling southbound on the Pennyrile Parkway at a high rate of speed when a Trooper Jim McArthur spotted him near mile marker 4. The trooper activated his lights and pursued the motorcycle, which exited the parkway and continued on I-24.
Grice attempted at Exit 86 but failed to negotiate the curve and crashed. He was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
He was later taken to the Christian County Detention Center and charged with the following offenses:
1) Fleeing/Evading Police 1st Degree (Motor Vehicle)
2) Speeding 26 MPH or Greater Over the Speed Limit
3) Reckless Driving
4) No Motorcycle Operator License
Trooper McArthur was assisted at the scene by Sergeant Tim Sales, Oak Grove Police Department, and Christian County EMS.
