HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Two people were wounded in a shooting early Thursday morning outside of a Hopkinsville residence, according to WKRN.
Hopkinsville police told News 2 the two victims arrived at the emergency room at Jennie Stuart Health around 12:30 a.m. with gunshot wounds sustained a short time earlier.
Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, officers said.
The victims told police they were shot while outside of a residence in the 1200 block of Walnut Street.
Several people had emerged from a vehicle and started firing at them, the victims stated.
The incident remains under investigation and no further details have been released.
