CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Quick Stop Food Mart at 531 N. Second St. was robbed at gunpoint Monday, Dec. 23 around 9:52 p.m.
According to a report from the Clarksville Police Department (CPD), two unidentified male suspects entered the business when no other customers were present. One suspect pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the cashier and demanded money. The second suspect did not appear to have a weapon, but held a small black bag to hold the stolen cash.
Witnesses say neither suspect was wearing any distinguishable clothing, but appeared to be black or dark in skin color.
Police reviewed surveillance footage and saw the suspects crossing N. Second St. on foot, but exited the building from the back. There is no footage of the suspects exiting or entering a vehicle.
A K-9 unit was dispatched to track the suspects, who have not yet been found.
