CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville man has been indicted by the December session of the Montgomery County Grand Jury on attempted first degree murder charges related to a shooting in Farmington Subdivision.
Auctaveon Durand Steele, 21, is accused of shooting a driver who then crashed into a home on Browning Way on March 5, 2018. The driver was transported by ambulance to a Nashville hospital.
Based on information gathered at the scene, police said this was not a random shooting.

Steele’s charges include criminal attempt to commit first degree murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony. It is unclear when his next court date will be.
A second suspect, Kenneth Hill, was also arrested in March of this year and charged with attempted criminal homicide.
