National Wrestling Alliance Pop-Up Event featuring David Arquette
Actor David Arquette will step into the ring when the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) comes to Clarksville this Saturday, Jan. 5 to partner with Clarksville’s own Tried-N-True (TNT) Productions to present the first ever “NWA Pop-Up Event”.
The NWA Pop Up Event: ‘New Year’s Clash’ will be hosted at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center located at 1188 Cumberland Drive. There will be a special meet and greet prior to the event, featuring all the NWA Champions and more. Tickets can be purchased online at the Tried-N-True website.
Predators Watch Party at Downtown Commons
The Preds Energy Team and Gnash will be in attendance for the Jan. 4 Watch Party at 215 Legion Street. Skating starts at 4 p.m. with the game at 6:30 p.m.
Don’t forget your blankets, chairs and warm clothes. Golly G’s will be open for concessions.
Skate sessions start at 4 p.m., 6 p.m., and 8 p.m. Sessions are an hour and a half and tickets include your skate rental. Pricing Skating Adults- $12 Skating Children (12 and under)- $10 Skating Government or APSU ID- $10 Watch Party- FREE!

Friday Mornings in January: Let it Snow! January 4, 11, 18 & 25, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Ages 2 – 5, with adult caretaker In Explorers’ Landing Brrr! It’s cold outside! But we’ll have some “cool” fun inside as we touch, explore, and play around with (artificial) snow. Mold the snow into different shapes and use various tools to exercise those fine motor skills.
Hands-on Activities: Winter Science Saturday, January 5 & 19, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Grades K – 6th, with adult caretaker In the Family Art Studio Did you know that January 22 is the 20th anniversary of the tornado that devastated over 500 buildings in Clarksville? To commemorate this occasion, come to this drop-in program and you’ll create a “tornado in a bottle” to take home.
Christmas Town – This large collection of porcelain pieces was assembled by Jimmy and Sue Drye of Clarksville. The village was donated to the Museum by the Drye’s children in honor of their parents. Hundreds of porcelain pieces make up the large display for Christmas Town.
