CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) deputies arrested three men after a high-speed chase through Montgomery and Dickson counties Friday evening.

According to MCSO spokesperson Sandra Brandon, a patrol deputy noticed a spray painted black Silverado with tags registered to a white Toyota with a passenger not wearing his seatbelt traveling on Zinc Plant Rd. around 7:13 p.m. He tried to pull the truck over but it sped off down Cumberland Heights Rd. and Dean Rd.

A second deputy used spike strips on the road to try to stop the truck, but the driver swerved toward the deputy and almost hit him to avoid the strips. The driver of the truck then turned onto Hwy 48/13 and tried to hit a second deputy head-on.

The truck eventually crashed in Dickson County and the three men inside tried to flee on foot. William Miles tripped and was immediately taken into custody. With the assistance of Montgomery County and Dickson County K9 units, Jacob Miles and Roger Biggs were successfully tracked and taken into custody.

Deputies recovered the following stolen items: 2004 Chevy Silverado, two handguns, one AR15 rifle, and ammunition. They also found meth and drug paraphernalia in the stolen truck.

MILES WILLIAM LEWIS- Theft, Reckless Endangerment, Drugs Methamphetamine Violation- Bond $165,000

William Lewis Miles, 25, was charged with auto theft, property theft, possession of meth, unlawful drug paraphernalia, two counts of reckless endangerment, evading arrest in a vehicle, evading arrest, reckless driving, and driving on a revoked or suspended license. Total bond is $165,000.

MILES JACOB DAKOTA- Drugs Simple Possession, Evading Arrest, Probation Violation- Bond $12,500

Jacob Dakota Miles, 19, was charged with evading arrest, simple possession, and violation of probation. His bond was set at $12,500.

BIGGS ROGER CLAYTON- Evading Arrest, Drugs Methamphetamine Violation, Traffic- Bond $35,000

Roger Clayton Biggs, 32, was charged with evading arrest, possession of meth, and seat belt violation. Total bond is $35,000.
