CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) — Junior Auxiliary of Clarksville presents the 7th annual Cheers for Charity silent auction and blind wine tasting from 6 until 10 p.m., Saturday, April 14 at Sango Event Center.
Cheers for Charity features a blind wine tasting where attendees are invited to bring two bottles of the same wine. Upon check-in, the bottles are bagged and numbered for tasting. At the end of the evening, the winners of Best Taste in two categories (red wines and white wines/champagnes) will be announced. Winners in each category will each receive the grand prize.
In addition to the blind wine tasting, the event will feature dinner provided by Mission Catering and live entertainment from Cindy McElroy. The night concludes with a silent auction featuring dozens of high-end baskets, including Memphis and Gatlinburg trips, beauty baskets, child-themed items and much more.
Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased at the door or online at juniorauxiliaryofclarksville.ticketleap.com/cheers-for-charity-2018/. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
Junior Auxiliary of Clarksville is a women’s organization that renders charitable services to children in the Clarksville-Montgomery County community through a variety of service projects. Proceeds from Cheers for Charity go toward these service projects, some of which include providing toys and meals to families at Christmas and distribution of hygiene kits to local schools.
