The CA Student Council met this week and formulated a plan on how the students could help. On Friday, March 2, students in grades PreK through 12 were encouraged in to bring in money that could be donated to the five CA families who lost their homes in the storm.

Student council members passed open umbrellas through the 6th-12th grade morning assembly and visited each lower school classroom.

At the end of the day they were able to collect over $3,000 which was distributed evenly between the five families.

“This student led initiative brought hope to the Cougar Family!” CA spokeswoman Sally Allen said.
