CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Montgomery County Veterans Coalition (MCVC) had its first meeting of the year on February 21, 2018 at Veterans Plaza.

The Veterans Coalition will host its first networking event on March 6 and its first fundraising dinner on March 24.

The networking event is free for Coalition members and veteran-owned or veteran-friendly businesses. Dr. Mac Eddington generously donated the space for this event, which is co-sponsored by Bizvets.biz.

The event will be held at the Pinnacle Down Under located at 430 Warfield Blvd. on March 6, 2018 from 6-7 p.m. RSVP to Lisa Ruiz at lisa@brandmyswag.com.

On March 11, MCVC will be going up against the Clarksville Networking Group in a head to head battle during Clarksville Family Feud at the Pinnacle for the chance to win $1,000 for the non-profit.

Bizvets.biz is continuing to add businesses and is asking for active duty, veterans, and their families to go to visit the website to recommend businesses where they have received great service. Fifteen percent of the proceeds go the Veterans Coalition.
