The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) said additional officers are already scheduled to be on duty as part of a DUI saturation patrol Friday evening. These officers will be available if road conditions become hazardous and assistance is needed.
“We often find when weather conditions become hazardous the nature of our calls for service change and we adjust to accommodate as needed,” CPD spokesman Jim Knoll said. “The supervisors on duty will prioritize calls in order of importance.”
