CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- (CLARKSVILLENOW) The free application for Federal Student Aid for the 2018-19 academic year became available for completion on October 1, 2017.

In order to assist students and their families with completing the application, Nashville State Clarksville will be providing several financial aid workshops. The workshops are free and open to the public, but do require registration to attend as space is limited. Soon-to-be-graduates, current students, or adult students all are encouraged to come and receive support navigating the FAFSA.

If you decide to attend you will need to bring the following items with you to the workshop: driver’s license or state issued ID; social security card; 2016 taxes; w-2’s (student, parent, and/or spouse); and, if you have previously completed a FAFSA, your FSA ID. The FAFSA has many different questions and this information will assist with completing the application.

Nashville State staff will be available to answer questions about the FAFSA.

The workshops will be held at the Clarksville Campus located at 1760 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on the following dates:
• Friday, October 6 at 9:30 AM
• Wednesday, October 11 at 1:00 PM
• Monday, October 16 at 9:30 AM
• Thursday, October 26 at 10:30 AM
• Friday, November 10 at 10:00 AM
