CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Fort Campbell resident has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault after allegedly stabbing two victims during a bar fight.
According to an arrest warrant, 27-year-old Justin Allan Lynch was involved in a fight Oct. 21 at Rookie’s Sports Bar on Fort Campbell Blvd.
Lynch is accused of stabbing one victim in the chest and the other in the arm. The first victim was severely injured and was LifeFlighted to Vanderbilt Medical Center in critical condition.
The second victim was treated and released by Tennova Healthcare several hours after the incident.
During an interview, Lynch admitted to stabbing the first victim in the chest. He said he was being physically assaulted and had no choice but to pull out his knife and stab the victim.
Lynch was arrested this week and charged with two counts of aggravated assault. His bond was set at $100,000.
