CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Toby Willis of the TLC reality show “The Willis Family” has been transported to Cheatham County jail from Kentucky, according to WKRN News 2.

Willis, 46, was taken into custody Friday in connection to an ongoing and active child rape case.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation started investigating Willis on Aug. 29. Agents reportedly obtained information showing that he had a sexual encounter with an underage girl 12 years ago.

The TBI said they located Willis, who is from Ashland City, Tennessee, in Greenville, Kentucky, after he reportedly traveled to the state to avoid authorities.

Willis was held in the Muhlenberg County jail without bond on a fugitive from justice warrant before he was transported to Cheatham County jail.

Ongoing investigative efforts revealed Wills hitchhiked sometime between Monday, September 5 and Tuesday, September 6 from Shepherdsville, Kentucky, just south of Louisville, to Greenville, approximately 115 miles away.

During the course of travel, Agents believe he accepted rides from at least two individuals. Agents would like to locate and speak with those individuals as part of the investigative process. Anyone with information that may be of assistance should contact the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
