Hankook Tire to host Career Information Fair for job seekers

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Hankook Tire, a leading global tire company, will host a career information fair for job seekers on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel located in downtown Nashville.

Hankook Tire announced last month that it will relocate its America Headquarters to downtown Nashville. This will be the second investment in Tennessee since 2014 when the company broke ground on a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Clarksville that will be completed by the end of this year.

Hankook Tire plans to make Tennessee its new base camp for the American market. Hankook Tire America Corp. and Hankook Tire Manufacturing Tennessee LP will hire approximately 100 new employees by the end of 2016. By 2020, the number of total employees for the two entities will reach approximately 2000 people. This is the first joint-event to recruit employees for both the new Headquarters and manufacturing facility.

The America Headquarters is seeking candidates in Marketing, Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, IT, and Tire Technical Service, and the Manufacturing Plant is seeking candidates in Engineering. Both entities are also hiring positions for Human Resources, Accounting, Finance and Administration. Both entities are seeking qualified candidates for entry level to senior level positions. Recent college graduates are also welcome. At the job fair, applicants will meet with recruiters and have a chance to interview with the hiring manager.

The June 1st Hankook Tire Career Information Fair will share detailed information about Hankook Tire, the new America Headquarters and the Clarksville plant. The one-day event will take place on Wednesday, June 1st from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Room 205 & 206 of the Renaissance Nashville Hotel, 611 Commerce Street, Nashville, TN.
