WOODLAWN, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Woodlawn man is charged after allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s house and attempting to shoot her and current boyfriend.

According to his arrest warrant, Donald Lewis Treat is accused of breaking into the victim’s house on Chester Harris Rd. through the front window after attempting to break down the front door. The victim told police that Treat then told her he was going to kill everyone and proceeded to pick up a shotgun that was in the living room.

The victim and her boyfriend ran to the bedroom, locking the door behind them. The warrant then states that Treat shot the bedroom door open with the shotgun. Treat tried shooting once more, but soon realized there were no remaining shells in the chamber and left the house through the broken window.

He was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated assault and vandalism with a bond amount of $500,000.
