FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – The 101st Airborne Division along with the Fort Campbell Soldier for Life – Transition Assistance Program (SFL-TAP) will host a National Transition Summit for Soldiers and spouses who are transitioning from military service within the next 24 months.

The event will take place October 21, from 3 to 7 p.m. and October 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Passenger Processing Center (PPC) located on Hedge Row Road, next to Campbell Army Airfield.

Soldiers, families, and leaders down to the company level will participate in town-hall style panel events, recruiter training, and facilitated discussions focused on improving competitive employment for service members, veterans, and military spouses transitioning to the civilian workforce. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in a networking reception, employment workshops and a Hiring Our Heroes job fair featuring employers of every size and industry.

Job seekers are encouraged to pre-register at HiringOurHeroes.org, so employers can preview their resumes prior to the event. Anyone unable to register online can still register in-person the morning of Oct. 22. Veterans and service members must have proof of service (e.g. military ID, DD Form 214, copy of military orders, or photo in uniform) ready to display at the registration table.
