RADCLIFF, Ky. – Supporting Heroes, Inc. is hosting an event in honor of Kentucky State Police Trooper Joseph Cameron Ponder, who was fatally shot on I-24 Sunday night.

The candlelight vigil will be held Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. in Radcliff, Ky. at the North Hardin High School football field (801 South Logsdon Pkwy). The school’s is Ponder’s alma mater.

The event is open to the public. Supporting Heroes, Inc. will provide some candles, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own.
