CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – City Councilman Deanna McLaughlin and members of Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 18-2 planted 417 flags at Patriots Park Tuesday, Sept. 8.
The flags represent Fort Campbell’s fallen soldiers who lost their lives in Iraq or Afghanistan since 9/11/2001.
The flags will be at Patriots Park (3176 Fort Campbell Blvd.) until the afternoon of Tuesday, September 15.
This memorial is constructed every Memorial Day, July 4, September 11, and Veterans Day.
