CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A vehicle hit a motorcyclist Tuesday afternoon on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. in front of Sonic.

According to Officer Natalie Hall, Public Information Officer for the Clarksville Police Department, the driver of the vehicle was crossing traffic sometime after 1 p.m. and ran into the side of the motorcycle.

The motorcycle rider was transported to Gateway Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.

Police determined the driver was at fault and issued a citation.

Traffic was temporarily held up while crews cleared the scene.

This is one of three motorcycle crashes in the area this week.
