CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A 53-year-old Clarksville woman has been arrested and charged with sexual battery after allegedly harassing a teen on a school bus.

According to an arrest warrant, Susan Boykin walked onto a school bus April 27 around 6:50 a.m. while the bus was on its pickup route.

Boykin walked to the back of the bus and started harassing a 15-year-old boy. The warrant says she laid on top of the student and began kissing and hugging him. She also tried to take the student with her and invited him to her house, saying, “it’s your birthday so we can do whatever you want.”

The student said he does not know Boykin and was afraid of her because she might know where he lives.

The incident was caught on the school bus security camera.

Boykin was charged with sexual battery and trespassing on school property. Her bond was set at $75,000.

The bus driver was arrested and charged Monday for her involvement. Police and the school system said the driver, Ruth Blackwell, did not report the incident or call 911.
