The Wilbur N. Daniel African American Cultural Center at Austin Peay will make a contest out of its Fall 2013 Food/Hygiene/Clothing Drive.
Donated items will go to support the APSU S.O.S Pantry. The WNDAACC is asking that all clothing for adults and children be new or slightly used. Items most needed include canned meat such as chicken and tuna, breakfast items, peanut butter and jelly, pastas and bags of instant potatoes. Donations of Ramen are not preferred.
For every ten items donated, individuals will be entered into a drawing. APSU students will receive a $50 Gift Certificate to Governors Square Mall, while community members will get an APSU Swag Bag.
Items will be taken at the WNDAACC, located in room 120 of the APSU Clement building. Hours of operation are: M-T: 8 am-6 pm and W-F: 8 am-4:30 pm.
