Wilson Perez, Jr. age 66 of Clarksville passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare.

Celebration of Life with Military Honors will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Wilson entered this life on February 4, 1954, in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Wilson Perez, Sr. and Ketty Deiter Perez. He was a Veteran of The United States Army. Wilson was a Christian, who enjoyed martial arts and cooking. He was a former Sergeant with Montgomery County Sherrif’s Office and formerly employed at Stone Container.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Perez.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Shannon Perez; sons, Nathan (Heather) LaRusch, Cameron (Amy) LaRusch, Derrek Weatherspoon, and Raven Perez; brother, Peter Perez; sisters, Carmen Gartner, Cora McGurk, and Evett Perez. Wilson is also survived by eight grandchildren.
