William (Bill) David Hudson III, age 69, of Clarksville, passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside, on July 10, 2014, in Cocoa Beach, FL.
He was the son of the late William D. Hudson, Jr. and Martha Wood Hudson.
Bill is survived by Janet Hudson; daughters, Jan Hodek (Gus) and Hope Hudson (Jim Chou); and grandchildren, Max, Camille, and Ellie Hodek. Other family members include Sarah Hudson, Marty Woodard (Chip), Nancy Sneed (John), Bob Hudson (Gail), Louise Segura Dolader (Jose), and Susan Purdy (Bob).
Funeral Service will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 18 at First Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Greg Glover, and Dr. Bill’s nephew, Chaplain (Captain) Clark Sneed officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service on Friday at First Presbyterian Church.
“Dr. Bill” felt very privileged to serve his home community for 38 years.
The family wishes a special thanks to the staff at Cape Canaveral Hospital for their excellent care and kindness.
