CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – We’re in for a much-needed rainy weekend, thanks to remnants of Hurricane Isaias traveling up through Tennessee. The area is expected to get 1 to 3 inches of rain and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
Heaviest period of rain will be Saturday and Saturday night, but the forecast could change quickly.

As of Thursday, it looks like the rains should reach Clarksville Saturday afternoon. There’s a 40% chance that Clarksville will get over 2 inches of rain through the weekend, the NWS said.
