CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – There are a lot of opportunities to explore Clarksville this weekend, and take in all of the different aspects of the community.

Spring Craftsmen’s Fair: Old Distilling Co., 451 Alfred Thun Road, will host the third annual Spring Craftsmen’s Fair with over 50 craftsmen, food trucks, craft beer and cocktails, and yard games all day long. The free event will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, May 15.

Weekends at the Winery: Beginning this weekend and continuing through October, Beachaven will offer wine, live music from local artists, and food trucks every weekend during business hours. Every Friday will be a happy hour from 4  to 7 p.m. Instead of the free wine tastings like at Jazz on the Lawn, they will be offering a $10 Flight Special (originally $12), which will have four wines and an option for a snack. They will also offer other drink specials. On Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. patrons can expect music from Chris Carpenter, and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Rachel McCamy will be playing.

Downtown Market: The Clarksville Downtown Market is back this Saturday with vendors selling everything from food to handmade goods. It will be located at 1 Public Square and will feature a wide array of goods and food trucks. Come on out from 8 a.m. to noon.

Movie Nights at the Downtown Commons: This Saturday, you can come see Toy Story 4 at the Downtown Commons starting at 7:30 p.m. Tennessee Kettle Corn will provide popcorn for every movie. A mobile art studio will be set up with ArtLink for hands-on activities for kids and food trucks on Main Street for treats for everyone. Chairs and blankets are welcome; however, pets, coolers, smoking/vaping, or outside alcohol will not be allowed on site.

Sanctuary Gaming’s Phoenix-Con: Sanctuary is presenting their first miniature, weekend-long comic-con, Phoenix-Con. Sanctuary is located where the Riverside Bicycle Shop used to be. On Friday, there will be food trucks, a Magic The Gathering Commander Tournament, and an Adult Cosplay Contest. On Saturday, there will be WaterDogs there doing scuba demonstrations, the local LARPing community demonstrating, Merchandise Vendors, food trucks, trading card game tournaments, all ages cosplay contest, painting workshops, Dungeons and Dragons with a Special Guest, and more. On Sunday, May 16, local collectors of cards, miniatures, comics, FunkoPops, games will be able to facilitate fair and just trades in the store. Traders can purchase a whole or half table to come out and show your special collections and even find some new pieces.

Benefit Poker Run: On Saturday, there will be a poker game and bike riding event to support the Sheepdog Initiative. Registration will be from noon to 1 p.m., and the event will last until 5 p.m. Bike riders will pay $20 each, but their passengers will pay $10. There will be food, and prizes for best and worst poker hand.
