Fright on Franklin
The City of Clarksville Parks + Recreation Department, Altra Federal Credit Union and the downtown businesses have combined forces for this year’s Fright on Franklin on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 3-6 p.m.
Fright on Franklin is a free, family-friendly event featuring safe trick-or-treating, costume contests, and much more in Historic Downtown Clarksville.
G.H.O.S.T. at APSU
Austin Peay State University will once again host Greater Halloween Options for Safe Trick-or-Treating (G.H.O.S.T.) on Sunday, Oct. 30.
The APSU student government association (SGA) is inviting children in Clarksville and surrounding areas to join the Halloween fun at Fortera Stadium. Groups on campus and in the community will be dressed up and handing out candy from 4-7 p.m.
Zombie 5K Chase Race
The City of Clarksville’s Parks + Recreation Department and the Clarksville Zombie Hunters have teamed up to host the Zombie 5K Chase Race. Find out how fast you can escape as zombies take over Liberty Park on Saturday, Oct. 29 beginning at 7 a.m.
Try and survive the apocalypse by using your brains and disguises to outsmart hungry zombies along the 3.1 mile course. You’ll need endurance, stamina and quick wit to survive this 5K – your life depends on it! All fitness levels are welcome. Open to ages 5 and up. Strollers are permitted, but must begin at the back of the race for safety.
