APSU 2019 Homecoming Step Show: Austin Peay’s NPHC will take over the Foy Center on Saturday from 8-10 p.m. for their annual step show.
Movies at the Library: This week’s free movie is Disney’s 2019 remake of ‘The Lion King.” The film begins on Sunday, November 10, at 2 p.m. Admission is free and popcorn will be provided.
Veterans Day Parade: The Clarksville-Montgomery County Veteran’s Day parade will be held on Saturday, November 9, from 9 a.m-12 p.m. in front of the historic courthouse in Downtown Clarksville. This year’s parade is a joint endeavor with Austin Peay, who is currently celebrating Homecoming.
Miss Lucille’s Holiday Open House: Miss Lucille’s will be open for the first day of Christmas shopping on Saturday, November 9, at 9 a.m. They will be celebrating the season by announcing the winner of their booth decorating competition.
Romeo and Juliet at the Roxy: William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, ‘Romeo and Juliet,’ opens at the Roxy Regional Theater this Friday, November 8, at 8:00 p.m.
Women Rock the Fort Concert: Country duo Maddie & Tae will perform with special guests Ruthie Collins, Natalie Stovall and Lakin will perform in a special concert this Saturday, November 9, at Fort Campbell’s Cole Park Commons. Doors open at 6 p.m. and tickets are $20.
APSU Homecoming: Austin Peay Homecoming festivities continue Friday and Saturday with events including Music Chairs Contest at MUC Plaza, Smash! Bang! Lip Sync Contest at the Foy, the Homecoming Parade and, of course, the game against UT Martin.
Handmade Holidays: Enjoy this two-day, indoor market, featuring fine art, apparel, jewelry and more, at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center on Saturday from 9 a.m-4 p.m. and Sunday 4 p.m-noon.
Combat Hunger: The 10th annual Combat Hunger city-wide food drive will be taking place Saturday, November 9, from 10 am-6 p.m. Volunteers will be at each of Clarksville’s major grocery stores collecting food and monetary donations.
19th Annual Eagle Toy Run: This year’s toy run benefits the USO Holiday House at Fort Campbell. Registration begins on Saturday, November 9, at noon at Old Glory Distillery. The ride will end at Appleton Harley-Davidson with food, cold brews, vendors and live music by Jared Blake.
APSU v UT Martin: The Govs and Skyhawks face off for the top OVC spot at Fortera Stadium on Saturday, November 9, at 3 p.m. Top by early for Tailgate Alley and Stache Street.
Salute to Our Troops at the Mall: Military R&R will be hosting a Family Fun Day with deals for active duty and retired veterans and a special presentation at the Food Court Stage on Saturday at 2 p.m. Also, stop by the Heroes Table and write a letter to be sent to troops for the holidays.
Giant Game of ‘Sorry at the Library: Saturday at 2 p.m, the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library invites teams to compete in a life-sized game of Sorry! other board games will be available as well.
