Steel Magnolias at Roxy Regional Theatre
Performances run through August 19 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:00pm and Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm, with 2:00pm matinees on Saturday, August 5, and Saturday, August 19.
Tickets are $20 (adults) and $15 (ages 13 and under) and may be reserved online at www.roxyregionaltheatre.org, by phone at (931) 645-7699, or at the theatre during regular box office hours (9:00am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday, and one hour prior to curtain).
Jazz on the Lawn
Jazz on the Lawn is Saturday, June 10 at Beachaven Vineyards & Winery. Rhythm Kings will perform.
Live music begins at 6:30 p.m. and goes until 9:30 p.m. and the event is free. Because seating is “general admission,” it’s beneficial to arrive about an hour early to get both a good parking spot and a good view of the band.
Back to School Splash
Join Clarksville Parks & Recreation for a pool party from 6-8 p.m on Saturday, Aug. 5 at the annual Back to School Splash.
The event will take place at three City pools:
• New Providence Pool, 168 Cunningham Lane.
• Beachaven Pool, 390 Gaylewood Drive.
• Swan Lake Pool, 2002 Sanders Road.
Registered students will enjoy a fun time around the pool and will receive a backpack full of grade-appropriate school supplies. The Splash is open to incoming kindergarten through 12th grade students. Cost to participate is $6 per child. Pre-registration is required and available online now at www.cityofclarksville.com/parksrec.
