Movies in the Park begins Saturday, May 7
Movies in the Park, the city’s free, outdoor movie series, will celebrate its 11th season as it kicks off on Saturday, May 7 with the showing of Independence Day (PG-13).

Montgomery County Minions Junior Roller Derby Game
The game will take place at the Clarksville Speedway and Fairgrounds, 1600 Needmore Rd, in Clarksville, TN.

Tickets at the door will be $12, but discount tickets are available at http://clarksvillains.brownpapertickets.com for $9. Children 12 and under are free and do not need a ticket.

Queen City Road Race
The 38th Annual Queen City Road Race, scheduled for Saturday, May 7, is quickly approaching and there is still time to register.

Registration can be completed in person or online. Online registration can be completed at www.cityofclarksville.com/qcrr and is available until noon on Friday, May 6.

Warrior Week
This annual celebration honors all local military men, women, and their families by providing free events and activities for the entire family.

May 5
• 1:00 PM – Godfather Golf Tournament at Clarksville Country Club. Sponsored by USAA

• 7:00 PM – Movie Night at Regal Cinema – showing Captain America. Free for all military ID card holders. Children of soldiers without ID need to be accompanied by an adult military ID cardholder. First come, first served.

May 6
• 5:30 PM – Eternal Flame Ceremony, 1 Public Square. The Eternal Flame honors the fallen soldiers of past and present wars.

May 7
• 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Car, Truck & Bike Show at Heritage Park.

• 2:00 PM – Tobacco Stick Softball Game at Heritage Park. Ft. Campbell vs. Clarksville-Montgomery County.
