Riverfest
Join the City of Clarksville along the banks of the Cumberland River to celebrate Clarksville’s river heritage at the 28th annual Riverfest Celebration, Sept. 8-10, 2016.
This FREE, three-day music and arts festival features three stages of local and nationally-known and diverse entertainers, cultural groups, delicious food, and fun for the entire family.
Free admission day at Customs House Museum
Saturday is free admission day at the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center.
Located in downtown Clarksville, the Customs House Museum is the state’s second largest general museum, featuring over 35,000 square feet of exhibit space, hands-on activities and special events.
APSU Govs Football – First home game
The Govs will play their home opener against Tennessee Tech Saturday at 6 p.m. at Fortera Stadium.
The home opener also will serve as AP Family Day, which invites the families of all current freshmen and sophomores to campus to take in a game and visit the APSU community.
29th Trail of Tears Intertribal Pow Wow
This historically important event in Hopkinsville, Ky. features tribal dancing, Native American storytelling, arts and crafts, and drumming.
Enjoy wood carving, bow making, flint knapping, open fire cooking in pottery, bead work, Indian flute playnig demonstration and more Native American activities.
