Hummingbird and Butterfly Festival at Dunbar Cave
The first Hummingbird and Butterfly Festival will be held at Dunbar Cave State Park on August 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There will be a hummingbird band demonstration, children’s arts and crafts, hikes, and informational talks. The festival will be a great way to spend an educational day outdoors for all ages.
Clarksville Sportsfest
The City of Clarksville’s Parks and Recreation Department will host its sixth-annual Sportsfest Saturday, August 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.
Sportsfest will offer a variety of sports, athletic, and outdoor activities for the entire family.
Fort Campbell Spartan Race
ort Campbell will host a Spartan Race Saturday, Aug. 20 from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Cassidy Combined Arms Collective Training Facility/Bastogne Landing Zone located at Fort Campbell U.S. 79 & Palmyra Rd.
The event is open to the public.
Jazz on the Lawn with Eight-O-Five Jives
Eight-O-Five Jives will perform Saturday at Beachaven Winery. The event begins at 6:30 p.m.
Guests can bring lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a free concert with wine available for purchase. Outside food is permitted.
