Clarksville Comic and Anime Toy Con
The Clarksville Comic and Anime Toy Con will be at Riverview Inn on Saturday, April 30 through Sunday May. Admission is $10 per person. The con features special guests from the worlds of animation, comics, steampunk, TV, and film.
HOURS:
Saturday: 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Green Day’s AMERICAN IDIOT rocks the Roxy Regional Theatre
Runs April 29 through May 14, playing Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:00pm and Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm. There is no performance on Wednesday, May 4.
Friday, April 29, is the theatre’s traditional pay-what-you-can preview. All tickets not pre-sold at the regular ticket price will go on sale at 7:30pm that evening for a $5 minimum donation.
Tickets are $25 and may be purchased online at www.roxyregionaltheatre.org, by phone at (931) 645-7699, or at the theatre during regular box office hours (9:00am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday, and one hour prior to curtain).
Paddle the West Fork event set for kayak, canoe enthusiasts
Blueway Adventure, LLC presents the fifth annual Tour de Clarksville, Paddle the West Fork event on Saturday, April 30. The Float will start at 9 a.m. at Robert Clark Park and end 15 river miles away at Trice Landing.
Bring your kayaks & canoes down to Robert Clark Park 1449 Tiny Town Road and float down to Trice Landing 99 Oak Street, right through the center of the City. The entire route is 15 miles, 5-9 hours. This route is long with about 7 miles of flowing water, 7 miles of flat water, and under 1 mile of paddling downstream on the Cumberland to Trice landing.
