CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A strong thunderstorm is moving across the area and should reach northwestern Montgomery County in the next hour.

At 1:51 p.m., Doppler radar was tracking a storm 11 miles east of Big Rock, or 11 miles southwest of Fort Campbell, moving east at 20 mph, with wind gusts up to 50 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

“Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects,” the NWS alert said.
