CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – There’s an ongoing risk for strong thunderstorms in Montgomery County today.

“Damaging wind gusts are the most likely hazard, but a tornado or two cannot be ruled out, along with heavy rainfall,” according to the National Weather Service.

Wind gusts up to around 45 mph will be possible through the mid afternoon, and Montgomery County is under a Wind Advisory until 3 p.m.

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the NWS said.
