CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – With storms rolling across Middle Tennessee this evening, a Flash Flood Warning has been issued for eastern Montgomery County until 7:45 p.m.
At 4:40 p.m., thunderstorms producing heavy rain were indicated in the area, according to the National Weather Service. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen, and flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
“Expect flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas,” the NWS said.
