Hubert Wayne Taylor, age 75 of Clarksville, passed away on December 29, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Jeff Burris officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday at 4-7 p.m. and on Wednesday at 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
Wayne was born on March 27, 1943 in Clarksville to the late Talmage and Henrietta Suiter Taylor. He was a member of First Baptist Church of St. Bethlehem and retired from the State of Tennessee Department of Transportation. Woodworking, painting, and crafting were just some of Wayne’s many hobbies.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, Robert Taylor.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Barbara Clardy Taylor; daughters, Teresa (Shayne) Behre and Wendy Sexton; sister, Sally (Carl) Marshall; grandsons, Tyler (Kalyn) and Nathan Behre; granddaughter, Paige (Stephen) Miller.
Serving as pallbearers will be Shayne Behre, Tyler Behre, Stephen Miller, Rhett Clements, Steven Cox, Doris Hargis, and Mark Marshall. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Wooten, Bobby Bowers, Bobby Clardy, Hughes Clardy, and Leonard Clardy.
