CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Gas and Water has planned a water outage on a section of Ashland City Road (U.S. Highway 41A Bypass) from Glendale Drive to Seven Mile Ferry Road on Thursday at 8:00 a.m. for fire hydrant replacement work.
Area residents may also experience low water pressure.
The work will take place near 1602 Ashland City Road where construction crews will close approximately 500 feet of the southbound lane to traffic. The road will remain passable by designating the center lane to southbound traffic.
Motorists are asked to practice caution and be alert to workers and equipment when approaching the work zone.
The fire hydrant replacement work is anticipated to be finished and water restored by approximately 12:00 p.m.
Construction crews are back on schedule today with water main replacement work on Claridge Drive. The road will be closed daily from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. through Friday, March 14.
Maple Lane will also be closed to traffic today from Rudolph Drive to East Porters Bluff Road until 3:00 p.m. Traffic will be detoured to Madison Street.
A water outage has been planned on Ashebrooke Lane on Thursday, March 13 at 8:00 a.m. to replace a water valve. The water outage will also affect Longwood Lane, Longwood Court and Runnymeade Drive. Area residents may also experience low water pressure until 12:00 p.m. when the work is anticipated to be finished and water service restored.
The road will be passable.
